Photography is an intricate art form that goes beyond simply capturing images; it involves creating a moment, telling a story, and expressing emotions. Ansel Adams' quote perfectly embodies the essence of photography as a creative and intentional process. At DAIMUN, our photography department offers delegates the unique opportunity to delve into this art form and craft their own visual narratives.

AIn today's fast-paced world, moments often pass by in the blink of an eye. Photography serves as a powerful medium to preserve these fleeting memories. Through photographs, we can capture and relive cherished moments and share them with others. At DAIMUN, we recognize the importance of preserving memories and are dedicated to capturing every significant moment of the conference.

However, our photography committee is not just about capturing memories; it's about creating them. Joining the Press Corps at DAIMUN provides delegates an excellent opportunity to make new friends, bond over a shared passion for photography, and create unforgettable memories. We encourage delegates to express their creativity and imagination through their photographs, offering the freedom to explore their unique styles and techniques.

Photography requires both technical skills and artistic vision, and our department is committed to helping delegates develop both. We offer workshops and training sessions designed to enhance photography skills, and provide opportunities to collaborate with some of the best photographers within our school community. We strive to foster a supportive environment that promotes growth and learning, working together as a team to help delegates achieve their goals.

Beyond capturing and creating memories, photography is also about storytelling. A single photograph can convey a wide range of emotions and narratives. We encourage delegates to explore the power of storytelling through their photographs and provide numerous opportunities to showcase their work. Additionally, we work closely with other departments of the DAIMUN Press Corps to create engaging social media posts and stories that capture the conference's essence and share it with the world.

Joining the photography committee at DAIMUN 2023 is an excellent way to develop your photography skills, explore new styles and techniques, and make lasting memories, both figuratively and literally.
